Amia began her career as a Fashion Stylist in 2011, shortly after moving to New York City and typing “how to become a wardrobe stylist” into Google. What followed was a self-made journey fueled by persistence, sacrifice, and hands-on experience. Her foundation was built through two courses at a community college, self-teaching, and assisting stylists such as Zoe Costello, Christopher Campbell, and Kate Young.
Amia styles celebrities for red carpet appearances and editorial features, while also working independently on brand campaigns and music videos. Her styling approach is rooted intention and individuality. Currently based in Los Angeles, Amia is now offering 1:1 personal styling services - working directly with clients to help them define their signature look that pertain to their lifestyle and elevate their everyday wardrobe with ease and confidence.
In addition to client work, Amia runs a YouTube series featuring two core segments: 'How Do I...?', where she teaches the behind-the-scenes “how’s” of the styling industry for aspiring stylists and 'What’s in my kit?', a breakdown of her stylist kit essentials with links to her Amazon Storefront to help others build their own. It’s part education, part empowerment because sharing knowledge is just as important as curating style.
